Railway: Signature of a Memorandum of Understanding between the SNTF and SNCF

No Memorandum of Understanding was signed Thursday in Algiers between the national railway company (SNTF) and the French National Railway Company (SNCF) in order to implement projects of partnership.
This partnership will cover the fields of training, engineering station, the transport of passengers and freight transport and logistics, and plans to eventually create a joint enterprise in maintenance equipment of the railways in Algeria.
The MoU was signed by Director General of (SNTF), Yacine Bendjaballah, and CEO of SNCF Guillaume Pepy Mr., in the presence of the Minister of Transport, Boudjemaa Talai.
In the formation, the advantage SNTF under that agreement of the skills and know-how of the French company through a training program that provides training to employees of SNTF.
In the field of railway technology, both sides should participate, links, tenders in Algeria.
The agreement also covers the transfer of know-how of the SNCF booking, ticketing, development of passenger and prices.
As for freight transport and logistics, SNTF and SNCF have undertaken to develop new activities, such as transport vehicles, container, minerals and food.
