Condor , Algerian leader in consumer electronics , will launch in 2014, the first product in the country smartphone.
Waited for months , the first product in Algeria smartphone released in 2014. Each year, 300,000 units should be produced in the industrial area of Bordj Bou Arreridj . Abdelmalek Benhamadi , owner of a local number of consumer electronics Condor , has finally got the green light from the Algerian Ministry of Interior effect. Twenty employees Condor will be trained in one of the Chinese subcontractors.
The Benhamadi group , created in 1950 , was initially specialized in the food and transportation. The family company has bifurcated from 1997 in the importation and manufacture of household appliances and consumer electronics with the creation of the Condor brand, which now holds about 35% market share in the sector.
Condor realized in 2012 a turnover of 31 billion dinars duty ( about 385 million) .
