The United States will invest $ 100 million in agriculture.

The Chairman of the Algerian-American Affairs, Smail Chikhoune, said Monday that the United States has reserved $ 100 million for the agricultural sector in Algeria.

Speaking on the airwaves of the national radio, Smaïn Chikhoune explained that American investors present in Algeria through nearly a hundred companies have begun to invest in agriculture, particularly in the production of seed potatoes, milk and beef.

The $ 100 million will be mainly dedicated to the creation of dairy farms, cattle fattening complexes for the production and development of seed potato flesh.

The project in question, according Chikhoune, will cover an area of 6,000 hectares, straddling the wilaya of Mostaganem and Mascara.
